  • Camden Park – Huntington
    West Virginia’s only full-scale amusement park, operating since 1903. Features over 30 rides and attractions, including classic wooden roller coasters (Big Dipper, Lil’ Dipper), a log flume, carousel, train, haunted house, and family rides. Hosts seasonal events and concerts. Open May–October.
  • ACE Adventure Water Park (Wonderland Waterpark) – Oak Hill
    A unique 5-acre inflatable water park on a spring-fed lake at ACE Adventure Resort. Includes giant inflatable slides, climbing mountains, zip lines, trampolines, obstacle courses, and “the Blob.” Also offers whitewater rafting, ziplining, and other outdoor adventures.
  • Water Ways Waterpark – Julian
    Outdoor waterpark with five slides (body and tube), a lazy river, Kiddy Island for children, pools, walking trails, picnic shelters, and a gift shop. Also features a new amphitheater for live entertainment and events.
  • Waves of Fun – Hurricane
    Outdoor water park operated by Putnam County Parks. Main attractions include a large wave pool, three water slides, and a zero-depth entry pool. Great for families and groups in the summer.
  • JayDee’s Family Fun Center – Inwood
    Family entertainment center with a waterpark (slides, pools, splash area), mini golf, go-karts, arcade, batting cages, playground, and nature zone. Offers birthday parties and group events.
  • Splash Zone – Clarksburg
    Seasonal outdoor water park with slides, a lazy river, pools, kids’ play area, and mini golf. Open during the summer months.
  • Wildwater Express Waterslide – Hinton
    Features a 267-foot waterslide, a pool, kiddie pool, and volleyball and basketball courts. Fun for all ages in the summer.
  • Tygart Adventure Lake – Grafton (Tygart Lake State Park)
    Inflatable adventure lake with 25 giant inflatables, sandy beach, lounge chairs, and swimming. Great for families and groups; open seasonally.

Note: West Virginia does not have large-scale theme parks like some neighboring states, but offers a variety of family-friendly amusement, adventure, and water parks for summer fun.
