The Balsams Wilderness, located in scenic Dixville Notch, NH, is famous for its vast cross country (Nordic) skiing terrain and historic resort setting. Although the resort has been closed since 2011, a major redevelopment aims to make The Balsams the largest and most advanced ski resort in the East.
